2020 NEST COVID-19 Survey

In August 2020, NEST and the Centre for the Study of Political Behaviour conducted an omnibus survey of attitudes and reactions to the pandemic at that time, with 17 researchers from a variety of disciplines participating in its design. The nationally representative survey relied on probability samples of adult residents of Canada (N = 2110) and the U.S. (N = 2124), selected on the basis of age, gender, and region. The questionnaires were available in the two country’s official languages (i.e., English/French in Canada; English in the U.S.).

The survey resulted in a workshop of findings in April 2021, more than 12 collaborative papers to date, and a dataset now available for public use: Dataset
