Ebenezer Narh, Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Dr. Ebenezer Narh is an expert in talent attraction and retention with a strong background in spatial demography, higher education and GIS. He recently completed his PhD in Geography and Environment with specialization in migration and ethnic relations at the University of Western Ontario. Ebenezer’s research spans a wide range of topics including higher education student migration and its socio-spatial implications, labour force outcomes and local economic development in Canada and abroad. Ebenezer’s work contributes to understanding the regional political economy and the broader impacts of migration on urban spaces and policy. His research has been published in high impact journals including Higher Education Quarterly and Canadian Journal of Regional Science. He has worked with the Centre for Urban Policy and Local Governance using the Network for Economic and Social Trends (NEST) Omnibus Survey to study housing mobility in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout his academic career, Ebenezer has received recognition for his achievements such as the Canadian Research Data Center Network (CRDCN) Emerging Scholars award and the Micheal Troughton award for outstanding academic achievement.
