WeCLISH showcases its climate change research at the AAG 2024
WeCLISH Co-Director Dr Issac Luginaah, collaborator Dr Daniel Kpienbaareh, and trainee Herwin Yengnone joined this year’s prestigious American Association of Geography Annual Meeting 2024.
Kpienbaareh's presentation focused on the innovative use of local knowledge, agroecology, and land ownership structure to enhance forest quality and promote community-based restoration.
On the other hand, Yengnone's study on Petty Traders in Techiman Market, Ghana's Breadbasket, shed light on the often-overlooked impact of food loss on women's livelihoods.
