The Centre and its Mandate

The Centre for Human Capital and Productivity (CHCP) is one of the eight governing research centres that encompass the Network for Economic and Social Trends (NEST), which brings together the research centres in the Faculty of Social Science.

The Centre for Human Capital and Productivity has a broad mandate to study and provide economic policy advice on issues related to human capital and productivity. CHCP publishes a working paper series and sponsors conferences, seminars, and workshops on human capital and productivity. CHCP also publishes and widely distributes policy briefs to distill and disseminate key policy-related research findings to a broad audience of policymakers, journalists, and other researchers.
